Aquamonitoring Services

Aquamonitoring data services implement proven information technology to meet the challenges of water and wastewater utilities, allowing secure access to process data at anytime from anywhere.  Each BCR treatment system is equipped with a data pipeline dedicated to system maintenance, performance monitoring, alarms, and system diagnostics.

Aquamonitoring's web portal provides access to historical and real time information. Our technology includes batch summary data with history, process step verification (drill down), EPA specific analysis, data export tools, a custom dashboard, and reporting tools which tailor information to customer requirements. Comprehensive data analysis is achieved with our historical trending and time-stamped user data (IE: temperature, pH, pressure, flow, etc). Data is protected and automatically archived for later analysis.

Aquamonitoring's remote data access offers up-to-the-minute information to assigned users.  Remote access provides a “live” view without compromising the integrity and security of the treatment systems. Condition monitoring provides real time notification via email or telephone. System alarms are acknowledged remotely to leverage personnel, lower operational costs, and improve efficiency

Aquamonitoring Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) Services

Our services provide an integrated and comprehensive solution to municipal water and waste management by leveraging existing networks, software applications, and a wide range of remote terminal unit (RTU) and programmable logic controller (PLC) control systems. Features include:
  • Geographical Information Systems (GIS) with real-time data for actual water and wastewater system status
  • Asset management and maintenance applications with actual equipment usage data for more accurate maintenance scheduling
  • Simulation applications with historical operating data to build accurate models
  • Laboratory systems with the ability to react in real-time to compliance problems

Aquamonitoring SCADA Services

Aquamonitoring SCADA services bridge data sources and transforms raw data and events into meaningful information to reduce operations costs, identify hidden inefficiencies, and enable more cost effective operations.

Asset Management for Plant Operations

Aquamonitoring offers a fully integrated asset management solution to automate key areas of water and/or wastewater operations, work order management, preventative maintenance, and parts and tools management. When new work orders are triggered, the solution utilizes the GIS and prioritizes to coordinate inspection routes and maintenance schedules. Our asset management tools support GASB 34 regulations with cradle-to-grave asset tracking capabilities. It also facilitates compliance with the EPA’s CMOM regulations for environmental protection

Security Systems

A recently completed vulnerability assessment highlighted the areas of a water supply’s infrastructure that are at risk. An additional sense of urgency has been created by recent regulations that enforce accountability measures for unauthorized intrusions. While no hard deadlines have been set for closing the risk gaps or addressing vulnerabilities, they remain a constant worry and a potential liability.

The most vulnerable areas are remote facilities. Municipal water systems often have dozens or even hundreds of remote sites, such as wells, pumping stations, and water towers. Many security industry experts agree that video surveillance is the best method for verifying alarms from these exposed locations.
